INGOLSTADT, Germany — Since the 2002/2003 season, the SATURN-Arena has stood as the fortress home of ERC Ingolstadt, witnessing over two decades of thrilling ice hockey action in Germany's premier Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

The arena, affectionately known as the "Panther's Cage," represents a pivotal chapter in the club's history. ERC Ingolstadt's promotion to the DEL necessitated the move from their former home at the old Jahnstraße ice rink, marking both a challenge and an opportunity for the ambitious club.

A Home Advantage
Every season, the Panthers host 26 regular-season games at the SATURN-Arena, with additional playoff matches determined by their league standing. The intimate atmosphere and passionate fan base have made it one of the most formidable venues in German ice hockey.

Championship Heritage
The arena's walls hold memories of historic triumphs. In 2005, ERC Ingolstadt celebrated their first major success with a cup championship on home ice. However, the crowning achievement came in 2014 when the Panthers reached their first playoff finals.

Though the decisive championship-winning game was played away, the 2014 DEL title remains the club's greatest accomplishment. A massive "2014 German Champion" banner now hangs proudly above the stands at SATURN-Arena, serving as a constant reminder of that historic season.

Honoring Legends
Flanking the championship banner are tributes to club legends—banners honoring the players who have donned the Panthers jersey and left an indelible mark on the club's history. These displays connect past achievements with present aspirations, inspiring current players and reminding fans of the team's rich heritage.
